    2.5mi Run pre-WOD

    Snatches @ 35# (had a hard time doing the full movement today; did additional OHS once the bar was up)

    WOD: 4 + 16, 35# KB
    2×50 abmat sit-ups (anchored, but forgot the weight)

    I’m so happy with my progress today! I would do a happy dance but still sore from Murph.

    Strength:
    Then: Snatches @35# with questionable form/no speed under the bar, just muscling it up
    Today: Snatches @60# kept the bar close, used my hips and got under it fast! Coach Dan said the reps looked and sounded great…now to get to full depth, that’s the new goal.

    WOD:
    Then: 5+4 @35# but needed to use my hips instead of shoulders to get KB swings up higher.
    Today: 5+8 Rx all hips on the KB, that sucker was weightless (thanks Coach!)

    Core:
    2×25 Anchored sit-ups

    4+17 – 53# KB. 70# snatch for EMOM. 25# weighted anchored sit-ups, 45# HEs.

    Oly stuff

    2mi run in prep for my first 5k or for that matter my first 3 mile run ever meaning that this 2mi is the longest i have ever run consistently in my entire life.

    Over the moom with my progress. Bring it on!!!
