Mobility:
Hamstrings

Clean & Jerk Practice

WOD:
CrossFit Open Workout 15.1
AMRAP in 9 minutes:
15 Toes-to-Bar
10 Deadlifts (115#/75#)
5 Power Snatch (115#/75#)
Use the same barbell for both lifts.

Immediately into:
6 minutes to find a heavy Clean & Jerk (competitors will be looking for a 1 Rep Max)

    65 Reps
    Not Rx because not all toes to bar were perfect

    95# C&J
    125# Clean (no jerk)
    Ran out of small plates to add to the 95#

    First day back in a while, still kinda sick, went easy.

        I’m not worried about it now- I’m not officially doing the open this year. Thanks for the encouragement though, coach! 125# was a pretty easy clean PR despite being a mess the past few weeks, I am curious to see what my clean and clean and jerk maxes are for real!

      Nice work, Dennis! Would you recommend using the alternating grip on the T2B? We saw Fraser do that in the later rounds last night.

    150# Clean & Jerk

    Missed the 5th round by 2 reps. Now I feel like I have to do it one more time. Missed 167# twice. Couldn’t even catch the clean. My back feels great though!

    Seeing people PR the clean & jerk, after a 9 minute AMRAP where grip was a big factor is SOOOOOO awesome!!!!

    My forearms were so smoked after 15.1, I literally almost couldn’t tie my shoes when I switched to my lifters for 15.1A!!!!
