    Slacking on my blog posts since I use a new app to record everything. Today was a good day even though I didn’t have 10am wod buddies!

    Strength:
    Bench Press 83, 93, 98, 103 (failed), 100.5 – PR

    WOD: 9
    Box Step Ups (Up & Over) 20″
    Power Snatch 55#

    Core/Accessory:
    Alternating Tabata – Hollow Hold & Plank
    Tabata – active hangs from the bar…so close to my first pull up, I can feel it! Starting Plain Dan’s suggested pull-up program soon!

    Well…That was fun.

    Did the Bench press
    135,155,165, 175 (assist), 185 fail

    Then decided to try to do the wod Rx’d, lower number but lots of weight. Definitely the most 135lb snatches I’ve ever done. Only failed once in the 5th round. Amazing how the bar floats when you pop the hip at the right moment.

    Snatch Grip Deadlifts: 5×2 @145/165/185/205/225
    WOD: 9+7 Rx’d (inspired like crazy from seeing Dennis’ score on the whiteboard!)
