    So proud of the 0600 crew today! With basically everyone getting a PR! Big shout out to Jae for a massive 60# PR!! And to everyone for holding the standard!
    0500 Lifting Session:
    Bench: warm up high volume
    2×8 @125# (light day)
    Back Squat:
    5×5 @275#
    *bad idea leading up to the deadlift!
    Deadlift: not feeling it today, and that’s just gotta be ok.
    425# way off PR
    WOD: 198 (not a good day here either)
    Positive note, Christopher Miller dropped in this morning, got a PR, then interviewed me for a project in his Kinesthesiology class. Great to see him!

    With mixed emotion today…

    STRENGTH – Deadlift: 365#, a 20# PR. Though 20# is cool…I wish I’d have eaten yesterday (only one meal). I would have felt better.
    WOD: 159…eh…getting better at DUs.
    CORE: Up to 90 seconds per side now

    5 Rounds:
    5 Push-Ups
    10 Step Ups with 15# dumb bells onto a 16″ box
    20 Dumb bell curls with 15#

    Then did yesterday’s WOD

    Accumulated 5 minutes of regular plank (side was hard on my back. I went kinda hard Monday & Tuesday and was trying to give my back as much rest as possible)

    Tried push-up w/ dumb bell row. Too hard on my back but we will be doing those soon.

    Went in Saturday morning to get my deadlift.
    Hadn’t done a 1 rep max DL before, but this was 55# heavier than anything I’ve done.
